I built MicroBrief because I was tired of PDF tools that upload your files to unknown servers, have file size limits, and require signup for basic features. This is my alternative, fast, private, and actually free.
The Story
MicroBrief started as a side project, a simple set of PDF tools that actually respected user privacy. No accounts, no tracking, no "free tier" limits. Just tools that work.
The entire project is open source under the AGPL-3.0 License. You can read every line of code, self-host it on your own infrastructure, or fork it and build something new.
